The new greenspace at the entry to the Pinnacle building may be on a corner
of one of Buckhead's busiest intersections -- Peachtree Road at Lenox Road
-- but this pocket park is surprisingly spacious once you walk inside.
A half-moon fountain splashes out multiple jets of water to help mask the
street noise, a curving path offers numerous stone benches, and a massive
wheel-like sculpture invites contemplation.
The park's design advances out one of the goals of the 1994 Buckhead
Blueprint, which urged creation of small parks and plazas with water
features and art at significant intersections.
The stunning 21-story Pinnacle building which soars above this park has a
dramatic roof line that is one of Buckhead's most distinctive
landmarks.
