Developed beginning in the 1920s, the Ridgedale Park
neighborhood is on the east side of Peachtree Road just north of Lenox Square/Phipps
Plaza. Neighborhood signs mark the entries. Its 110 homes are a
charming blend of early 20th century vernacular architecture in a mature urban forest.
Tudor revival, Georgian and English and French cottage styles mix comfortably. Although
not on as grand a scale as neighboring Brookhaven, Ridgedale Park enjoys the same gracious
layout. Homes are built on the area's original rolling topography, often with deeply
set-back front yards. |
